David Wedge: With more than 30 years experience in many facets of the Automotive Industry, David’s main business interests have been in the Motorsport sector having run race cars for many clients in a variety of competitive series around the world. Designing and developing high performance engine and suspension parts for Ferrari race cars has been the core of David’s business for many years, and he has kept abreast of modern technology to that end. Alongside that David has extensive electronics design and development experience having created some innovative products along the way such as; advanced driver training vehicles, early developments in the M2M and IoT comms fields and engine management systems and diagnostic tools. In addition, years of experience in the Automotive Events business working freelance with a global provider of OEM training and product knowledge transfer has provided David with a wealth of knowledge in the Automotive arena
Pjotr Prins is a bioinformatician at large and director of Genenetwork.org; a member and visiting research fellow of Rob William’s group at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Pjotr is an Oxford University Nuffield Department of Medicine honorary visiting research fellow in statistical genetics and a visiting research fellow of the Personal genomics and bioinformatics Department of the University Medical Centre Utrecht and the Groningen Bioinformatics Centre of University of Groningen. Pjotr runs a virtual group and is an editor for the Journal of Open Source Software (JOSS). Initially, Pjotr received his PhD and was employed by the Laboratory of Nematology, Wageningen University.
