Emtec Corporation Ltd offers a completely new approach to fleet and emissions management, delivering robust and independently verified emissions data that meets UK Government Buying Standards (GBS) for transport and UK Accounting requirements.

This is the world’s first technology that enables fleets to measurably reduce emissions in a way that is accurate, validated and compliant.

This means customers can

Model the impact (financial and environmental) of changing their fleet

In operating their business, Emtec Corporation Ltd is committed to minimising the impact of its activities on the environment by the following:

Property Management

We will ensure any buildings we operate in are maintained to the highest environmental standards.

Energy Conservation

We will aim to minimise energy use and obtain energy from renewable sources where possible In the heating, lighting and running of our buildings.

Travel and Transport

We will seek to reduce the pollution caused by our use of vehicles for work-related travel purposes. We will minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement. We aim to reduce the annual average work-related mileage per employee.

Control Waste

We will minimise waste produced by the organisation with priority given to waste reduction, reuse of materials and recycling. An effective purchasing policy will help us identify the products that result in the least waste.

Comply with Legislation

We will continually monitor and update our practices to comply, and where possible exceed, with relevant environmental legislation

Communicate

We will communicate our environmental policy to all those who we work with including staff, customers, suppliers and contractors.

Educate and Train

We will educate, train and motivate staff to work in an environmentally responsible manner and to play a full part in developing new ideas and initiatives. New staff will receive induction in our environmental standards.

Monitor, Evaluate and Update

We will measure our impact on the environment and set targets for ongoing improvement. We will encourage contractors & suppliers to take a responsible attitude towards the environment. Our policy will be reviewed and updated annually.
